Make the link preview count
When you paste your event link into a chat or a post, most apps show a preview with the event’s title, a short description and the banner image. Upload a banner in the event settings: without one, the preview falls back to a plain Guestlist image. Choose a picture that still reads when it is small, and keep important text away from the edges, where apps may crop it.
Before you share it widely, send the link to yourself and check the preview. Your event link stays the same when you edit the title or other details later, so you can keep improving the page after you’ve shared it.
Share it where your guests are
Group chats, your story, your bio link and the accounts of the artists or venue are usually where tickets get sold. Write a line or two with the date, place and what makes the night worth coming to, then add the link. People are more likely to tap a link from someone they know, so ask your line-up and friends to share it too.
For posters and flyers, turn the event link into a QR code with any QR code generator, and test it with your phone before you print. Use one link everywhere, so every guest lands on the same, up-to-date page.
Plan your announcements
Most parties need more than one post: an announcement, a reminder when an early ticket price ends, and a final reminder a few days before. Give each one a reason, such as a new act or a set time, instead of repeating the same message.
If you set a time when sales end, mention it in your last reminder. You can also turn on a countdown in the event settings. When a ticket type gets down to its last ten tickets, the event page shows how many are left by itself.
Keep your promotion honest
Quote the price guests actually pay. Your event page shows the full price, fees included, so use that same amount in your posts. Only say tickets are nearly gone, or that a price ends soon, when it’s true: invented scarcity is misleading and, in the EU, not allowed.
Use photos, logos and music you have the right to use, and mention a minimum age if the event has one. Promotion that matches the page means fewer surprised guests at the door.
